See the World in Green and Blue Private to Libby Thank you for helping me to the HW [/End Private] Private to Aston Thank you for the chocolate. I enjoyed myself Also, could I borrow your Arithmancy notes for Thursday? [/End Private] Things seem to have been blessedly silent the past few days since Potter`s unfortunate incident. I sincerely hope that they remain that way. I know that tempers have been running high since the Quidditch match, especially among our Lion schoolmates. However, I would like to remind all of you that there are rules that you must adhere to. I know that there are both prefects and even professors that tend to `turn the other cheek` for certain pranks and pranksters-while I do loathe do admit it there are moments that even I am not completely-impartial. Nevertheless, some things will not be tolerated. I would like to remind all of the houses of that, not simply Gryffindor and, of course, Slytherin. I suppose that would be a waste of both ink and breath to ask all of you to cease on your pranks while tempers are high and wait to act on cool-heads if you must act at all. This is why I am posting this. To remind you that `prank wars` have been known to get out of hand when they are simple silliness, never mind when it is obvious to everyone at Hogwarts that they are vindictive. Innocent people get hurt and things become violent either from miscalculated carelessness or temper getting in the way. I hope that all of you have the sense of mind and if not that, at least, a sense of house loyalty to remember that pranks are rule-breaking no matter what the incentive and will be penalized. Insulting or antagonizing prefects is a show of disrespect not only to the school and the other person, but also to yourself. I can`t think of anything else to say at the moment, other than that after taking the time to put up this warning I will take it as a personal affront if it is not heeded even slightly. Those of you who I have taken points from before or have dealt with me in any professional matter know better than that. That said, have a good rest of the day. Current mood: productive. Private to Libby I know you've been waiting with bated breath-why since my life isn't all that exciting and I am sure that you could be doing your homework instead-to know the result of my "date" with After that. Nothing happened. Nothing. Sorry to disappoint you Private Ended Private to I simply wanted to thank you again for inviting me. I truly enjoyed myself, it was a lovely evening Private Ended ( Private ) Private to Libby I believe that I may need your aide End Private Congratulations to both teams. I must say that I was truly impressed with all of the beaters. All of you are rather quick, it was exciting to watch. The Variable Hare is quite lovely against fallen snow. I didn't even know we had one in Hogwarts; I am assuming one since I recall reading somewhere that hares typically are solitary creatures. I was surprised that I was able to see one as closely as I did. I started a rather good sketch with my pencils, if I do say so myself. I plan on completing the rest of it after this entry, the image is still very much in my mind. Something so at peace with itself and its surroundings is very difficult to forget. Quidditch Week has fallen upon us once again. As always, unless it is Ravenclaw, I will remain impartial. Thus green and red for me. However, I would like to point out ... as I always do. That Quidditch Week is not synonymous to I Shall Not Do My Essays week. I mean it. Do your homework or pay the price. I am not helping anyone in any which way this year. Just as I didn't last. You all didn't think that I was serious. You are on your own. That said. Best wishes to both Slytherin and Gryffinfor for this weekend. I have a hare to finish. ( Private ) I would simply like to say to the moronic twits who wrote that gossip column and to the mass of public of Hogwarts As I said, as I always say, I have other things that I place more importance to then boys and flirting Thank you. I just felt my piece needed to be said. And I would like to say I don't blame any female-or male-for flirting back with the Don Juans del Dorkos if that is in their nature. It is simply not in mine. Current mood: irritated. On a more positive note my elbow is starting to look slightly better. I hope that professor Longbottom is not having too much more trouble with the slugs. Also, hopefully, people actually listen to the announcement. ( Private ) Attention members of team three! The twenty-fifth is just eight days away. READ: E I G H T. 8!!!!!!!! Now I don't know about the rest of you but I am NOT going in there without at least a name. I'll list them right here and you can just discuss amongst yourselves and pick the best one. Okay first one up is Ravendor. Since we're mostly Gryffindors and Ravenclaws. I tried Gryffinclaw but that doesn't sound as poetic. Plus it sounds like some type of medieval disease. Trust me. I know. Second one is Unity. I know, it does seem a bit anti-climactic. But I thought hard about it and I decided that this is what this about, so why not go for the heart of it? Shanti is an Indian word for peace. Which I think? Is also very good. Third I combined the first two letters of all of our names and came up with I've also have the Truffles. Because what's better than truffles? Everybody likes those! I have the Rock Climbers because it mostly has to do with duration and striving for the top. And that is it. For now! Don't worry I have an entire list more. I just wanted to give you the first batch to see what you all thought. paradigm (păr'ə-dīm', -dĭm') n. 3) A set of assumptions, concepts, values, and practices that constitutes a way of viewing reality for the community that shares them, especially in an intellectual discipline.
